Oh, horseshit

NEW YORK (AP) — Alec Baldwin told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos in an interview airing Thursday that he did not pull the trigger on a prop gun he was holding on a New Mexico film set when it went off, killing a cinematographer.

“I didn’t pull the trigger,” Baldwin said. “I would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger at them. Never.”

  3. So.....another of those evil guns with a mind of its own that the Democrats are always prattling inanely about.
People don't kill people, those evil guns kill people.
Just like the MSM that said that "an SUV" caused the slaughter of innocents at the Christmas parade in Wisconsin.

Fuck these lying Leftists and Fuck Joe Biden

  4. That cocksucker is nuthin more than a lying, liberal Hollywood elite actor, tryihng to put his best spin, blaming someone else...it ain't 30 Rock, Alec, it's the real world...of course he would never point a gun at anyone, of course he wouldn't pull back the hammer, of course he wouldn't pull the trigger, everyone knows that! On a positive spin, did Kyle Rittenhouse actually point his gun and pull the trigger? I think a Hollywood investigation should commence, fuckin aye, baby...jeez!

  5. Glad to hear it. The more weasel words out of Alex Baldwin the normies hear, the less attention they'll pay him in the future.

  6. Don't need to pull trigger if you fan the hammer.

    1. The trigger still needs to be depressed or it'll catch at half cock.

    2. Sure you do. It’s just in revers. You squeeze the trigger first and then fan the hammer.

Take a bow Alex Asshat. Encore! Encore ! Encore!

I got news Baldwin, this ain't 30 Rock or SNL. You're life, as you've known it, is OVER and so is your fortune, you smug prick.

What I'm really surprised at is that his lawyers allowed him to participate in this charade. Granted, the interviewer was Stephanopolis, another far left Hollwierd type, who only throws softballs to other Hollywierd types.

I'd be willing to bet that his not an immigrant, not Spanish wife put him up to it. They deserve each other. Two smug lying pricks in a pod.

  8. This is what you say a second or two after it happens, not weeks afterwards. This POS is guilty.

  9. Well technically you squeeze the trigger.

  10. The gun pulled it's own trigger, Why you could see the homicide in it's beady little eyes!

  12. Once again an EVIL GUN has killed somebody! What BS.

  14. Typical liberal argument. the gun has a mind of its own.

  15. Pathetic that a 17 YO man admits to what his trigger finger did, but an incompetent, petty, lying child of a 63 YO hollywood denizen is incapable of that. Fuck alec baldwin.
    Has he been arrested?
    Held at all?

  16. Now it appears that he admits to cocking the pistol. Care to bet the gun expert that he is, was squeezing the trigger while he cocked the pistol.

  17. I own one of the guns the media says was used to kill that woman. I tried really hard to find a way to partially cock the hammer that would result in the gun firing. I couldn't do it without having my finger on the trigger partially depressing it. What Balwin said was total bullshit. He had to pull the trigger in order for the gun to fire. The fact it held a live round is immaterial to the fact he pulled the trigger.
As every gun owner knows, once the firearm is in your possession, you are responsible for the safe handling of that firearm; nobody else.

  18. Alex Baldwin made a claim that he was smarter than the average gun owner, I wonder if he still makes that claim. Seems a basic gun safety course would have prevented all this.

    1. No, because filming an action movie means you deliberately violate at least 3 of the safety rules. To get video of a gunfight, actors must point the guns at each other (violation 1), put their fingers on the trigger when they don't intend to destroy the target (2), and fire at someone they don't actually intend to kill(3). Or maybe for the movie poster you want a viewpoint down the muzzle as the weapon is fired - so an actor has to point the gun at the camera and fire a blank. (This seems to be what Baldwin was doing, but since it wasn't a blank he feels compelled to lie about it.)

There are just two ways to get such video without leaving dead and wounded actors and crew all over the set: either use guns that are known to be empty or loaded with dummy rounds and have special effects add the noise and muzzle blast to the film later, or ensure the guns are loaded with blanks (and use distance and lexan shields to protect against the wadding). To be sure about this, you make sure there are only dummy rounds and blanks on the set. You _don't_ allow target shooting with the prop guns after the day's work is done, because that makes it possible to have live rounds mixed in. A movie set is a high-stress, naturally chaotic work environment, so Murphy's law applies with extra force. If it's _possible_ to have a live round, it _will_ be loaded in the gun when the actor points it at someone and pulls the trigger...

    2. Kinda funny how they can use CGI to make entire sets, but they can't use it to show 5 bullets in a gun, huh?

  19. So who cocked the hammer? It is a single action knothead.

  20. It wasn't me!
    It was the one-armed man!

  21. I would never do what the evidence shows I did. Say it repeatedly. With feeling.

  22. If Baldwin gets off (and that's likely) would YOU want to be his next movie's director? Not me!! As an actor I've always found him to be stiff and unconvincing. Only exception is the Glen Gary Glenn Ross "Coffee is for closers" speech, which I'll admit, was a classic. But then when you add Jack Lemon it improves everything.

  23. Alec,

If you don't know how it works, don't fuck with it.

  24. An old punch line comes to mind, "Are you going to believe what you see, or what I tell you?"

Had a 'discussion' with my girlfriend tonight. She watched the interview and was filled with pity for that 'poor man', Baldwin. She thinks of herself as a Conservative but watches too much TV. Put her on the jury and she'd vote to acquit that jack-ass.
As it happens, many years ago I owned period single action Remington revolver. So I tried to explain to her what it means when someone cocks the hammer back, an action that she gathered from the interview was not important and unrelated to the gun firing.
She thinks I'm just being mean.

    yeah, maybe.

    1. So I have to ask, why are you with her ?
I've had friends that are girls who have a liberal lefty view of the world but I would never have one as a girlfriend, wife or even a serious companion. I see no benefit in wasting my time with such a person, besides polite conversation or a hello how's things I have no interest in any of their thoughts.
