In the last few years we've had some issues with a few funeral homes in the metro Detroit area. They tend to be the funeral homes that service the black community. If I remember correctly there was one that went out of business and left a bunch of bodies in the garage and basement, folks that were supposed to be buried over a year before they were found.
ReplyDeleteIf it was a white-owned funeral home their defense would be, "Well, they all look alike."
ReplyDeleteI’ve been involved in the litigation of a few of these funeral homes cases on the insurance side of the house. I can tell you this one stinks and not just of decomposition either. In my experience, when the funeral home refuses to acknowledge there is anything wrong, there most definitely is something major wrong.
