NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A study conducted by WalletHub named Nashville to have one of the highest crime rates per 1,000 residents among state capitals in the country, ranking fourth overall.
was kind of a rough town for G.I. back in the day, early to mid 1970's. never spent much time there, as I could get a plane home and back for under 55 bucks back then. used to bring a 6 pack with me on the plane too. got to know a few of the ladies that flew the very friendly sky back too. a much better way to pass a weekend pass than staying in or near nashville.
A guy i worked with flew into nashville two weeks ago to buy some stupid hypoallergenic dog. Had lots of cash on him. They found him on the side of the road near death sans cash.. Spent three days on a ventillator. They're not sure if he'll ever be the same.
The more I read about Nashville, the least I want to go visit my old haunts. But I will butch up one day and check out downtown to comapre from whe I was last there in 85
I see Baton Rouge is #3. Let's see, a black mayor elect, black majority in the city and on on the city council, black police chief, yep sounds right JD
The study is typical liberal stupidity. It doesn't take into consideration that not all state capital's are big cities. (Ten miles from the center of Frankfort Ky, you can be in farmland in one direction or downtown Lexington in the other.) They also rate them on stupid things like "Covid policies". Yep, no liberal bias there.
What anonymous said at 6:40 is the most accurate way to gauge the crime rate of nearly *anywhere*. Just "...look up the percentage of blacks living there". Racist? Yep, I'll own it. But in today's world it's also realistic.
