Commentary: Democrats Are the Real Insurrectionists
Recently, Democrats have been despondent over Joe Biden’s sinking polls. His policies on the economy, energy, foreign policy, the border, and COVID-19 all have lost majority support.
As a result, the Left now variously alleges that either in 2022, when they expect to lose the Congress, or in 2024, when they fear losing the presidency, Republicans will “destroy democracy” or stage a coup.
Yes, they always project, that way you can't accuse them.of what they are actually doing. Look at the entire Trump Presidency? Everything they said he was doing, turns out they were at it all along. When they say Jan 6th was an insurrection, they're not wrong. Just which parties are the insurrectionists.
The democrats must concentrate themselves in the Blue states, then secede from the union and work as a team if there is any hope for mankind let alone the Earth itself.
While that may be technically true, in the public mind, it will be no more effective than DR3 or the GOP is really the party on the side of the little guy. The Left won the battle of public perception on that score. Propaganda works.
Getting pretty sick of the "Democrats are the Real [Boogeyman]" stuff.
Fewer and fewer normal (non-insane) people truly care about accusations of "racism" or "Islamophobia" or "anti-Semitism" (or "insurrectionist") or whatever any more because those have been overused. Not to say that those don't happen and are not a problem, but FFS it's the "boy who cried wolf" thing. All that bitching, whining and kvetching doesn't make for a better society, it makes for one where normal people end up cheering for the right-wing death squads.
