Fucked around and found out

One dude learned the hard way that old man strength is a very real thing.

In a video that was sent to us this morning, a younger guy was trying to chirp an older gentleman. That’s when things went south in a fast way.

  1. I didn't really see the punch connect, and the lecture must've been scathing.

  2. My kids are both bigger than me, but they both know I can take them down. You ask them why and they'll both say "because dad cheats." I have no interest in a fair fight, I care about ending a conflict in any way I can.

  3. That guy must’ve had a “glass jaw.” He went down without any real umphh in the punch.

  4. My Martial Arts discipline Jaka Do teaches 5 seconds or less takeout.

    3 seconds for black belt.

Absolutely about ending the encounter before they get an opportunity.

  6. 1) Oder guy's had professional experience, and been in a ring before.
    2) He had the youngster by at least 100 pounds.
    3) Amateur welterweights should not be fighting professional heavyweights.
    4) But it's fun to watch.

  9. "If you see an older gentleman start squaring up, you should just walk away."

Us old guys don't have the time or the stamina to screw around with some punk kid. You also never know if, in some states, the old dude might be packin'.

The kid also didn't recognize that the old gentleman has been in a fight or three in his younger days. Dumbass got what he deserved.

  14. All I hear from the old guy is “ OK, let’s go.” before and “That’s right.” after. No trash talk, no mouthin off. The punk was probably yakkin away the whole time until dad shut him up. I’m an old guy. I’m too tired to run, too small to fight yer punk ass. I’m just gonna shoot you twice.

  15. Grew up with a lifelong friend since we met in kindergarten. He grew up with a very mean/strict father who was a crane operator. He's been in an out of the joint a time or two. At 55, I still cringe at the thought of taking a hit that I've seen him give some smartasses. Back in the day, though, we were some tough sonsabitches. Still are, just get a little winded which is why gettin to biddness quickly is essential. Ohio Guy

  18. Gotta quote a country song here: "I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was!"

I've crested middle-aged, and my workouts on the heavy bag are more focused than when I was a young wannabe stud. There's way less rage and stamina, but I'm smart enough now to focus on footwork and not just massive hay-makers. Old me just might be able to take young me...
