No problem, they'll just raise taxes to pay for it

About $7 million worth of surplus personal protective equipment and cleaning supplies, purchased by a Northern California county earlier in the pandemic, was damaged in recent rainstorms after it was left outside for months, officials said Friday.

Back in uniformed days, every motor pool I saw had stuff stacked and piled, some in boxes, some not. New and worn track pads, tires, pieces of metal, rolls of wire and empty wooden boxes. I wondered where it all came from and why it all was left around? It's the Army. And in San Mateo's case, it's only government money. Not like real money.
