#2 -- need them on the back also. When a car hits hard enough to break the bogies and move them forward, there's usually not much left of the occupants. Alas, never having seen it was not to be for me..... body bags were all that were needed
They are and are there but look at the bracing differences. In their current configuration, they "help" but could go a lot further if the bracing were a bit different.
Even if you got kids they'll herd them too. The biggest problem with Border Collies is they absolutely have to have something to do, something to herd, to keep track of, to watch over and monitor. Without it they get really depressed and can turn destructive.
We used to cut the end off a whiffle ball bat to use as a launch tube. And if you put the lite rocket in and then gave a flip of the wrist the range was even better. Good fun. Scurvy
#1 - The one at the back of the truck is nicknamed a 'Mansfield Bar' as a result of Jayne Mansfield and two other people in the front seat getting killed after rear ending a truck. Her daughter, Mariska Hargitay, who plays Detective Benson on Law & Order, was asleep in the back seat with her two brothers.
#2. In 2012 on I530 south out of Little Rock was a small SUV that had run under the back bar of a trailer, with the bar sitting on the back of the front seat. The county coroner car also was there. My guess -- texting rather than watching.
#7 looks just like a place I used to go to on the way to fall creek falls. would go thru pikeville forest south of the prison. During a severe rain and flood 3 people died to the right of where he ends up when their vehicle washed over the side and they all drowned. The last time I went thru there about 15 years ago they had raised it up.

ReplyDeleteI thought the "ICC bar" AKA the "Jayne Mansfield bar" was already required.
DeleteThey are and are there but look at the bracing differences. In their current configuration, they "help" but could go a lot further if the bracing were a bit different.
DeleteICC bar, or Mansfield hitch, is on the back of the truck/trailer. These side bars are relatively new.
Delete#10 What a good pup! Even when Border Collies are puppies they're good at their jobs!

DeleteNice shooting on #5. We used to have bottle rocket battles when I was a kid. "You'll put your eye out."

#6, from the looks of the tenacity the little brown dog is displaying trying to get out of his enclosure I'm betting the white dog was in heat
ReplyDeleteThe dog's shirt got stuck on a bar. He's trying to get free of it.
DeleteDidn't see that,good catch
DeleteI figured the little dog was trying to be a little badass in his yard and wound up looking like an ass.
DeleteTry to keep up with the rest of the class ssj.

#1. Should be part of every trailer
ReplyDelete#10. Good dog. Just don’t chase the sheep once you get them where you want.
The downside of #2 is a lot more trucks high centered on R.R. crossings.
ReplyDelete#2 might save the one off life but it's going to increase the expense for countless people with lower gas mileage and higher costs.
ReplyDelete#9 The sweet smell of civilization.

#2 how about we just teach people how to drive?
ReplyDelete#2 IIRC, those 'wings' actually improve MPG.

ReplyDeleteFor # 1, If it were Coors cans, it'll be that piss water that flows down the stream after the deer's piss in it...
ReplyDelete@luis-WeDon'tDrinkThatShit
I always wondered how carbonated beverages were canned.
ReplyDelete#8 Little Susie remembered that birthday until the day she got to choose her parents retirement home. Mouahhaha!!! Did she get even then
