As Gas Prices Continue to Soar, Tennessee Prices Remain Below National Average

The national average for a gallon of gas has surged to $3.44, the highest average price since 2014, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA). The new average is 14 cents more than it was a month ago and 98 cents more than it was a year ago. 

In Tennessee, the average price for a gallon of gas is below the national average at $3.15. Despite being below the national average, Tennessee’s average remains the highest in the state since 2014.

It's $3.06 - $3.09 here in Lafayette after an overnight jump of 13 cents a couple weeks ago.

    $2.99 at HEB and $3.08 at WalMart when I filled up Wednesday here in central TX. It was around $1.79 on election day 2020.

    Lowest about $4.50 here in So Calif. Was $4.30 last weekend.
    Saw $5.15 at a Mobil station today...

    The "cheaper" mom-and-pop store up the road where just a couple of weeks ago had gas for $3.08 is now $3.38. The Circle Ks and Tomb Thumbs are both at about $3.45. Extreme NW Florida.

    Costco is $3.14 for regular with Quicktrip right down the street at $3.29 here in NE Atlanta.
