Commentary: The Freedom Convoy Is a Teachable Moment for the American Right
It’s pretty amazing how a few weeks of honking in Ottawa combined with parents standing up to autocratic school boards appear to be doing more to move public opinion and change the everyday lives of Americans for the better than decades of funding CPAC social events and conservative think-tanking have done. Fascinating when you think about it.

ReplyDeleteIf you wish to donate to a cause to which "The Powers That Be" may object, make the donation using some sort of generic gift cards. Do not use your own credit cards. Use a throw-away email address and a fake street address.
If your checking account gets frozen, then you cannot make payments on your rent, mortgage, credit cards, auto loans, etc. Those may become subject to foreclosure, late fees and interest charges, and repossession.
If you used your own credit card and later think something BAD is in the works, pay the minimum amount as soon as you get the monthly bill, and pay the balance when you get the money. That will get you an extra month to develop alternative plans should something BAD actually happen.
If you loan money to a friend who had their bank accounts frozen, give them cash. If necessary, drive them to where they can make their payments in cash. No checks. If your name is on the a check, you might be considered an accessory and become a target.
Remember, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean nobody is out to get you.

Postal Money Orders are also anonymous and accepted at all banks. They could get your DNA and/or fingerprints from them, but by the time fed.gov would be looking to tie you to a particular MO, the cashed MO would be destroyed.

CPAC is an insider's club that preaches to the choir. Seems like a high-level planning mission with little to no action on the ground. Thought without action is procrastination. Action without thought is impulsiveness. Given the choice of the two, I'll take impulsiveness. Something useful might be accomplished, even if by accident.

I hate to see this convoy start here in this country. It only provides opportunity for the left to infiltrate to make the sheeple think the conservatives are crazy Trumpers. A better option would be a an old style sit down strike. Just park the trucks and let America know that if the tyranny continues, you will have no products.

DeleteYes. Why do the people demand the truckers take point when they all own cars themselves. The people can shutdown the Federal Interstate highway whenever they choose. All it takes is demonstrating on an overpass and tossing down some paper wads to get LEO to shut the highway down.

The commie !eft has been “actin out” and displaying their blatant hatred for us for a simple reason. Because they can. They no longer need to worry about “optics”….what the voting sheep think. They ownthe media, academia, Big Tech, and about 90% of the judiciary. Add in the insanity os “mail in voting” plus the corruption of entities like Dominion Voting Systems and they can do whatever they want and still maintain their grip on power. TINVOWOOT.
