  2. A good friend of mine is an award winning breeder of Alpine show goats. I work on the farm and I've come to really love these smart and interesting animals. This is a very busy time for us. It's the beginning of kidding season and the first kids are due today.
    We also manufacture the best milking machines in the country if anyone is interested.

  4. I much prefer goat milk to cow milk. Unfortunately when we moved to Missouri 27 years ago we were unable to find a source here. Where we used to live in Texas, there was a small farm where the bottled the milk in new plastic milk jugs just like cow milk comes in. The milk was in a fridge on the front porch. You removed the milk you were getting and dropped your payment into a lock box with a slot next to the fridge.

    My wife had previously had her own dairy goat operation in Tennessee. She did a full inspection before we started purchasing milk there.
