Damn it, I knew I should've gotten those plates as soon as they came out

UPDATE: According to multiple sources with knowledge of the license plate problem, after News 2 began asking questions, the State Department of Revenue stopped production of the license plates.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Are the new Tennessee license plates being sent to motorists across the state invisible to some license plate recognition cameras being used in some cities?

That’s a question state officials and local law enforcement agencies are now asking.

  2. The letters look close together to me. Probably hard for the cameras to differentiate, especially if there happens to be a little smudge on them...
