A Wisconsin man is facing a felony charge after using his truck to T-bone a vehicle carrying two people who had just stolen a snow blower from his family’s garage, police report.
According to cops, Corey Sanderson, 29, intentionally plowed into the driver’s side of the getaway car as it turned onto a street a few blocks from his Madison residence.
Interesting verbage within.....had to go back and read - "intentionally plowed into the driver’s side of the getaway car", might it have been with a snow plow?? to retrieve his snow blower?
I'd demand a jury trial.....no jury in the world would convict....wtf are the cops and DA thinking....the damn cops ram getaway vehicles all the time....
I'd argue it was not reckless endangerment. He was purposely attempting to stop the theft of his property. Nothing reckless about it.
The thieves felt the property was worth their lives, otherwise they would not have stolen it. He was simply calling in the marker on the bet they made. No endangerment.
If that charge is the best they got they need to go back and try again. Are the thieves being charged with anything?
NOT GUILTY! Motherfuckers want to steal, they can pay the consequences, whether it be a slap on the wrist from some limp-dick judge, or more sever punishment from their victim. Don't start nothin', won't be nothin'.
I'd vote to acquit. Thieves deserve no sympathy.
