Meanwhile, in the shithole town I moved here from.....

CERES, Calif. — Several people were detained after a Stanislaus County deputy was shot at Friday, the sheriff's office said. One person was also arrested. 

A deputy "took unprovoked gunfire" near Central Avenue and Service Road in the town of Ceres, the sheriff's office said on social media. The deputy was driving to work in a marked K-9 patrol vehicle when he was shot at.
