Your Thursday Morning Florida Report

NORTH MIAMI, FLA. (WSVN) - New video provided by local talk show host Andy Slater captured the heart-stopping moment a driver opened fire at another driver along Interstate 95 in Northwest Miami-Dade.

The dashcam video shows one of the motorists as he traveled southbound in a black SUV near Northwest 151st Street, June 21, at around 7 a.m.

The video clip starts with the man, identified as Eric Popper, singing. At the time of the incident, he was a civilian fire inspector with Miami Beach Fire Rescue.

Investigators said Popper cut off another driver.

    That is the area of the Golden Glades Interchange. I do believe it is a curse piece of land because there is not a week goes by that some incident is happening and somebody is dead.
    I avoided it like Hell's bathroom

    The dumb bastard shooting up the interior of his OWN car is hilarious. Never fear getting into a gun fight with this guy. He can't hit the same spot in his own car from the inside at two feet.

    The casual manner as he proceeds to shoot up the inside of his closed vehicle is absolutely hilarious.. "Dammit, here we go again, second time this week."

    He shoots through his windshield and the windshield does not star up like the side window does. Interesting.
    Several years ago there was a video of a guy in New Zealand shooting at Muslims from his car, through his windshield, and I thought it was a fake video because the windshield did not crack.
    Also, the driver is an asshole.
