Party on, Nancy, party on

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's bizarre behavior during Biden's State of the Union address last night distracted viewers from the President's comments and had some asking if she was 'on drugs' or 'drunk'.

Pelosi was sitting directly behind the President and was in full view throughout the speech, that went on for an hour and two minutes.

The 81-year-old behaved erratically throughout, jumping up and rubbing her knuckles in glee after Biden spoke of soldiers breathing in toxic air at one point.

*****

I didn't watch the speech last night. Not because I had something else going on, it's just that I don't like being lied to and especially because I can't stand to hear the sound of Biden's voice.

  1. I didn't watch it - I was asleep then had to go to work - but I wouldn't have if I were awake for the same reasons.

I have seen and heard parts of it online. The "in glee" exhibition looked to me as though she were glad he brought that subject up. If she was she expressed it horribly.

  4. You missed out, Ken. According to Ms. Pelosi the speech was lip-smacking good.

It was also great to see she and Kamala Harris sitting behind Biden and realizing these two women are helping to guide our country down the same forward-thinking path that California is headed. Truly inspirational.

  6. I did watch the replay on Fox Nation and found myself screaming at the computer. Lies, more lies, and with a straight face.

    1. When Brandon claimed “gun makers are the only companies that can’t be held liable” I shouted “what about fucking Pfizer and Moderna, you asshole?” Sigh. Uncool to lose one’s cool. Mea culpa.

  7. watching anything anymore is like watching a slow motion train wreck. that was just another
shit show that is becoming way too often these days. just glad I am old now and not a young man as this shit is just going to get worse. anyone under 25 with 2 brain cells knows this shit is not going to end well for anyone. and everyone should plan on this getting worse and stock up on what will be needed when the wheels fall off. more of when rather than if anymore.
say 3rd world shithole anyone ? as the clowns there, all they doing is getting as much as they can before the music stops and there are no chairs left. we are fucked with these clowns running the show.

It occurs to me often that the governemnt has totally given up on trying to fix anything (if they ever did try) and they are in 100% steal as much as they can mode while the place is being flushed.

    2. Re: "anyone under 25 with 2 brain cells knows this shit is not going to end well for anyone." You must not have been paying attention the last few years, that group has been brainwashed and fully bought in to the socialist's pipe dreams and believe American is one of the most evil and worst countries in the world.

  9. At one point, she jumped up (if an drunk 81 year old can jump) tried to steady herself and missed. She almost did a header for all to see! Too bad the "go get him" at the end didn't mean doctor!

  10. I watched the entire thing. The first thing that stuck me after Buydem started speaking was Madam Speaker's face over Joe's left shoulder. One side of her face appeared to be sagging a little and my thought was "she's had or is having a stroke". Her speech didn't appear to be affected. However, I thought it was odd that as soon as she started the canned Presidential introduction, the camera cut away to Buydem in the crowd. From I remember of past introductions, the camera is on the Speaker's face until the intro is finished.

  11. Nancy's behavior was even more bizarre during Trump's SOTU in 2020. Making faces and erratically flipping through pages was quite impressive before she tore it up at the end. Too much vodka I presumed.

  12. I watched maybe 35 minutes of it and I want credit for staying with it that long. But I'd also like that 35 minutes back. Got a feeling I won't be getting either.

  17. I didn't watch it either, and for the same reason you didn't. I did see a few-second-long clip of Nancy rubbing her knuckles together. Struck me it must be some sort of signal, but then it struck me that, no, it will have been an effort to distract from FJB's gaffs.
