Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly vetoes GOP bill banning transgender athletes
Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly shot down two hotly debated Republican bills — one banning transgender athletes from girls’ sports, and another forcing schools to let parents challenge classroom curriculum — setting up a fierce campaign conflict for the first-term governor who faces re-election in November.

ReplyDeleteIf you can *at all*, homeschool the kids. Starve the beast (at least in TN, schools get less $$ if your children don't go). Pretty much EVERYONE can do that for at least grade school. Get 'em all set up into rhetoric and unleash them into the middle schools, at least.

ReplyDeleteMy take on this is she knows she's gonna lose big in November so she's gonna follow the liberal agenda until then, 100%. Which in her case, won't be hard. I've lived in Kansas since 1988 and of the three women governors we've had since then, she has by far been the worst, and that's saying quite a lot.
Even for a Democrat, Kelly is a dumpster fire... and that's saying something.

ReplyDeleteWe would gladly give her to any other state. As long as Kansas has a blue, densely populated NE area we are screwed in the less populated rural areas.
ReplyDeleteShe has been a train wreck since she was elected. The liberal college towns and Kansas City KS are destroying the rest of the state. So glad I left Kansas in late 2020.

DeleteKelly is a carpet bagger that destroys all that she touches. Why is it that we in Kansas are cursed with democrat governors each trying to outdo the previous dems in being destructive and incompetent.
