Marked safe from Alzheimer's today

PULLMAN, Wash. — Cell phone radiation has been a constant suspect when it comes to the development of cancerous brain tumors. Now, a new study has found a concerning link between these devices and the onset of Alzheimer’s. Researchers say excessive cell phone use and even Wi-Fi radiation can lead to increases in intracellular calcium levels in the brain — another hallmark of the disease.

  1. I don't own a cell phone. No desire to. My wife has one and rarely uses it. When she does it's for business like doc appointments and stuff like that. If it rings she doesn't answer it because we know it's a telemarketer. Hardly anyone has her number. Oh, the wife's cell is good for gps. We're new to the area and it is great for finding places.

  2. 5G is even safer, right?

  3. I've been putting my phone in airplane mode every night before I go to bed, for the past few years now, because my phone is my main alarm and it's 2 feet from my head all night. And I remember reading somewhere that 12 feet is a good minimum distance to keep between people and the wifi router, so I put it in a spot where it's usually 12+ feet away. OTOH I had to buy a router that was strong enough to work, so who knows?

5G scares me, because we had no say in the matter and we're being bathed in millimeter radiation all the time now.
