  1. I've visited Shiloh a couple of times over the years. It was a very moving, humbling, heart-breaking place.

  3. ...Humbled? Go to Gettysburg and stand on Cemetery Ridge and view the terrain that George Pickett's men crossed. In Armistead's Brigade, my G-Grandfather and his three brothers made that trip. One wounded-one captured. Wounded G-Uncle died convalescing in WVA.
