On This Day:
At Mount Carmel in Waco, Texas, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) launches a tear-gas assault on the Branch Davidian compound, ending a tense 51-day standoff between the federal government and an armed religious cult. By the end of the day, the compound was burned to the ground, and some 80 Branch Davidians, including 22 children, had perished in the inferno.

ReplyDeleteI was on jury duty in the basement of the courthouse where the pool of people stay the day of the Okc bombing. Watched the reports all day. What was that clinton hags name, I don't remember and don't care. Ealion doesn't either.

(I think, but I'm really old) shoot tear gas into a house where someone was barricaded, it caught fire, and they just stood around and let it burn down. Seems like there should be a crime in there somewhere. And where is Lon Horiuchi these days?
