ReplyDeleteKits are great starting points. Your needs are going to be different than mine just based off climatic issues; customizing is probably a good idea. There’s no such thing as a one-kit-for-all-events FAK. What I’m doing and what I reasonably expect to encounter determines which of 3 or 4 kits I carry along. I’ve always got my EDC kit, it just gets supplemented as needed… range day, woodcutting, hunting/fishing trip, extended trip into the boonies, etc.

ReplyDeleteLike any tool kit, do not get something that will GET YOU IN TO TROUBLE!
Whether First-Aid, Trauma kits, or even automotive tools, be aware of limitations.
