No winners here. "University professor" too stupid to realize the risks she was taking: sad, but she's mostly or completely at fault for her death- it would not have occurred had she not stopped in the middle of the road. The illegal- obviously here illegally, no license, and then he scoots rather than stopping, probably because of all of the above. Prison time, then deportation (if we're lucky).
On second thought, there is a winner: the rest of us. Two idiots gone with one hit, no collateral damage.
