Your Friday Afternoon Florida Report

Police in South Florida have been investigating a rather unique case in which a 5-year-old who left a teacher hospitalized after an attack is their only culprit.

A police report described the incident, which took place at Pines Lakes Elementary School, and a police report described it as an aggravated assault with hands, fist or feet.

However, due to the circumstances of the case, police will not be pursuing the young assailant.

  1. I am glad that Fusco is a teachers union president and not a teacher, because clearly she cannot speak english clearly.

Also, she is releasing privileged health information.

  2. It's only a matter of time before that kid kills someone. Probably that teacher. Come on, three times?

  3. Sounds like an article for the "Guess the Race" game.

  4. Well-coordinated, 150 lb 5 year old and a 90 lb, 68 year old teacher?

    We need more details.

  5. There are 5 year olds, and then there are 5 year olds.
I'm guessing a severely overweight kid, or one whose size was more comparable to an 8 year old - and a husky one, at that.
If the kid essentially drop-kicked her, or pushed her down, and did a running fall on her, yeah, she could have severe head/spine injuries. Or kicked her in the abdomen, causing some internal injuries.
The thing is, families think it's cute when their kids act like WWE competitors. Their 'play' is quite aggressive, and can injure people who aren't expecting it.

  6. Talk about a "lil monster"! And this kid beat up his teacher to the point of hospital 3 times! I'll say one thing, she's determined!

  7. It sounds incredibly irresponsible* of the principal to put this aggressive and dangerous 5 y.o. in the same classroom with the teacher after 2 attacks that required hospitalization. The 5 y.o. should be institutionalized with other retarded children of similar physical size, overseen by people capable of restraining him. There he should stay until he writes the next Great American Novel.
Changing the subject, every time I hear of Broward County, it's bad news.
*Actually, "it's a fucking outrage" would be more accurate.

  9. There is a child who needs to be institutionalized.
