Taylor Swift is set to receive an honorary doctorate from NYU and deliver a speech to the class of 2022 at graduation Wednesday morning, and the superstar’s definitely dressing the part.
My niece delayed matriculated (BS, '21) with Taylor yesterday. Niece gets a MS in Public Policy on the 25th. My Bro (JD) and SIL (MD) were very proud of her. Both flaming liberals from Minnesota. They sent pics of the ceremony at New (cough, spit) Yankee Stadium. Her class was 50% Chinks, 30% POC, 15% Caucasian female and 5% Caucasian male. The future writ large.
I don't think there is a more vapid entertainer currently on the scene. The most insipid music, delivered by a semi talent. And not particularly attractive either.
I am ashamed to say that I didn't know that Taylor Swift was getting a diploma. I have to hurry and get a card with a check in the mail, to celebrate her wonderful and disciplined achievement. You must admit, she has gone a long way for a no talent hack.
