ReplyDeleteMy second wife's step father flew choppers in Nam. Both slicks and Cobras. He said they were terribly underpowered.
ReplyDeleteHe told about getting shot up one time and feeling something hit his foot. When he got back to base, he had a hole in his boot. The bullet passed between his second and big toes, then went right in front of his face. No blood, no medals.
