#9. Rotor blast anyone? The “Hind-D” is a flying tank, its heavy, so there is considerable rotor blast. Still the most I have ever encountered is from a CH 47 Chinook. Cavguy
Cav, I flew several times on CH 47's. About first time I looked up and hydraulic fluid was leaking. I said to one of the crew, yer leaking oil. He said, we only worry when it aint leaking oil.
I once stepped off the boards of a scaffold, and did a fun little tumble and bounce, down all the way to the ground. It was only about 5' but after hitting my head and arm on enough pipes and boards, a concussion and a badly cut arm was enough to make sure that I didn't plan on going out for that nights festivities. I was helping put up sheet rock in a building on New Years Eve. As many times as I have concussed my brain, it's no wonder that it works so slow. At least that is the excuse that I use.
I had a stroke during Heart valve replacement surgery in 2019 and it did leave a bit of residual weakness on my left side, but I use it as an excuse for all my silly shit.
#3 was like something out of a Harold Lloyd movie.

Delete#9 - Pilot, here's your flight plan for the review today.
ReplyDeletePilot, seeing altitude and compares to downdraft, smiles inwardly, and says "Yes Sir!!".

ReplyDelete#5 - If I was flying a russian copter, I'm not the ONLY one whod be falling out of it drunk.
