    1. It is a Capybara the largest rodent in the world. Native to South America. It usually lives in the water.

    2. Somehow or another a capybara made it up to Texas and was living in a small pond at a local park. Friendly. Locals would toss food to it and occasionally it would let people pet it. Until someone killed it and dressed it out. No word on how much meat or how they prepared it. I'm assuming it's ok to eat.
