33 top US hospitals sent website users' medical information, including their locations, to Meta
In what experts say could be a violation of federal law, some hospitals have been sharing users' personal medical information with Meta, a new report from The Markup found.

There have been instances where I, the patient, requested lab results and was told it was a violation of HIPPA to comply with my requests. Likewise, at least once, but I seem to remember a second time with a different office, when I inquired of their notice that patient's personal information may be shared with 3rd parties, they told me any information, including identity 'may' be shared.
