  1. The flatfoot doesn't want to get ahead of the case and piss off a Soros prosecutor.

  2. FOUR DAYS?!?!?! You can decompose in four days? I guess hot car and all, but that seems pretty quick.

    1. Decomposition starts right away. I've seen woodchucks here in the summer decompose 4 days after I shot them.

    2. When I worked at the local PD (not a cop) we had one that was only 3 days dead, in a car with the windows fully up. They thought it was a fat black man, until the body exploded when the car was open. Turned out it was a thin white woman.

The forensic tech had to crawl across the human puddle to get the other door open. She had to throw away all the clothes and the brand new boots away, and you could smell her for days.

Bodies decompose rapidly in the heat.

Then there's a very famous study out of Arizona. Seems in high summer, a body will decompose quick enough that buzzards can strip the corpse in less than 8 hours after death.

  3. After 4 days, in a blue car, in Tennessee, that would be a scene I wouldn't dare be downwind of!

    1. And it's been really hot here lately, temps in the mid to upper 90s.

  4. Anybody try to read the linked article? It asserted that Moore (the dead guy) gave a statement.

Them cops in Chattanooga are da bomb!

    1. The medics are on the ball though

“The officers found a black man in the "later stages of decomposition" in the driver's seat of a blue Mitsubishi Mirage, the affidavit says.

Medics confirmed the man was deceased”
