Go to the link and check out the crimes these guys were in prison for at a minimum security camp.
Back when I was running wild, those kind of charges would've gotten somebody at least a decade in a medium or maximum security prison.

ReplyDeleteThere is nothing inconsistent with these guys being at a minimum security level. Within the BOP, you may start out at a higher security level facility, due to your conduct or length of sentence. But over time, as your remaining sentence shortens, and if you have been behaving yourself while inside, you can be dropped down to the next lower security level and transferred to lesser facility. This is meant to slowly teach the wildlings the benefits of self-control, as every drop in security level has more privileges and better accommodations. About the only thing that bars you from eventually getting to a camp (minimum level) where there is not even a fence, is if your crime involved violence.
ReplyDeleteIf Obama had a son......
ReplyDeleteFun fact: It wasn't that long ago that BOP would move clowns like this around the country using Greyhound. https://www.budgettravel.com/article/federal-prisoners-are-transported-via-public-bus-lines_10632
but things are so bad on the outside, one of them has gone back to the prison voluntarily already..
