OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – The Oklahoma Attorney General is asking the Court of Criminal Appeals to set execution dates for 25 death row inmates.
Attorney General John O’Connor filed the motion Friday. He began the request by asking that the state move forward in setting an execution date for death row inmate Richard Fairchild.
Meanwhile, Tennessee keeps kicking that can down the road. I want to know when Lemaricus Davidson gets to ride the needle, or Ol' Sparky, or face a firing squad. Hell, I'd settle for him bein' put down with baseball bats.
Davidson and his hyenas should be gibbeted as an example for all who would consider acting on their jungle instincts. The fact they weren’t hung from lamp posts at four of Dindu Nuffin’s favorite locations around Knoxville after being caught is a disgrace in itself.
You should do a piece on George Banks. Killed 13 people, mostly his own mulatto kids and some of his mud sharks. Absolutely no doubt. They took their sweet time with appeals and delays, he sat on death row for so long, the explanation is it made him too crazy to execute. Talk about a catch 22.
Then there's the Hummel guy in Texas, killed and burned his family, sentenced to death, death sentence finally comes due in March 2020 and the courts said because of COVID he couldn't get administratively whacked. Finally executed in July 2021. For a case that happened in 1991.
Crime in this country was a lot lower before the sobbing dogooders convinced court systems that execution by the state was somehow cruel and unusual. Were some wrongly executed? Sure. That's on prosecutors and cops for withholding exculpatory evidence and outright framing innocent people to keep their conviction rates high and for which NONE OF THEM are/were ever punished.
They should suffer the same fate as the people that are wrongly convicted and executed, IMHO. I think that might potentially keep them honest.
Yeah, that's my thought. If a person is found guilty, and it later turns out they actually weren't, whoever screwed the pooch should have serve as much time in jail as they did. Now, I'm not talking about getting off on a technicality. I mean actually 100 % innocent. Especially if evidence is withheld or fabricated.
Here we go again. Republican cognitive dissonance.

...but...
"Back the blue, no matter what!"
"Government should totally be allowed to murder people. It's as American as apple pie. There's no way the DA was corrupt. Or the judge. Or the prosecutor. Or the cops. Or the court system. Or the crime labs. Or the FBI. Kill him quickly and permanently."

DeleteAbout fucking time!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to propose the invention of the "electric bleachers". We should be able to get through the backlog pretty quickly. You're welcome.

DeleteAll they need is a swimming pool and a toaster.
ReplyDeleteJust execute them in the same manner as they murdered their victims... And have their liar err lawyer perform the task.
ReplyDeleteFor 25 you would think they would throw in a couple for free.
