Justice Clarence Thomas says Americans are more interested in their iPhones and what they want than the US Constitution

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, who voted to overturn Roe v. Wade, expressed 'disappointment' that Americans are more interested in their iPhones than the Constitution, a new book claims.

*****

And half the Justices obviously haven't read the writings of our Founding Fathers explaining their reasonings behind the Constitution and Bill of Rights

  1. Justice Thomas is 1000 percent correct. Digital Bread & Circuses for emotional driven nitwits aka 85% of the population ain't gonna end well. It's the Globalist elite's winning hand.

    2. I agree, it has gotten to the point where it does not matter if you were born here, you may still not be an "American". As much as I hate how they do it and also cannot blame them, some of the illegal immigrants have more American values than some 'natives'.

  2. I watched "The Social Dilemma" and in it they talked about some of the changes that happen in people when they really get into their iPhones ... I suspect Justice Thomas is correct.

  4. Biggest problem with out society as a whole is is they want what they want, when they want it except for the responsibility of being accountable for their actions. Goes right down to what Judge Thomas says, no one knows what is in the Constitution, yet ask lawmakers to abide by it. And those that are tasked with knowing what is in it, don't have a clue about the meaning behind the words. We are living in a world of deceit, lies, smoke & mirrors, truth is fiction and news is whatever you can repeat ,the source be damned, if it sounds good, go with it.

    1. "Buy now, pay later" became "Buy now, let future generations pay".

    2. I remember a similar thought. My grandmother told me that when she and my grandfather were young, and wanted a new lamp, or living room rug, they had to save for it, and wait, and when they finally were able to buy it, it really meant something. And they also knew enough about the cost that they didn't buy junk, but quality, because they would not be able to save for the same thing for some time.
But that when she told me about it, people had started to buy either on credit or on the buy now, and no payments until next year, etc. and the companies sold junk that hardly held up before the payments were over. And often the interest continued to accrue if you didn't pay the entire thing off before it was due.
It took me way too long to learn the lesson, but for the past 8-10 years I learned that I will not carry any debt. I actually had a pastor tell me over 30 years ago, who had been a CEO in a major construction company before going into the ministry, the best counselling advice he gave to marrying couples, who if they followed it, came back to him later, and thanked him for it. Never pay interest on a depreciable item. Cars are the worst thing. A house is an appreciable thing, and interest is acceptable, but a car will eat your money if you make payments with interest. We have paid cash for the last few cars we have bought, and the last one we bought we paid 8500$ for, and it is a very good car, that has lasted for 5 years, and will go at least that many more.

  5. 22 year old vw jetta. v6 still goes off like a jack rabbit. The engine is sound and if it's rusting I can't see it.
