The shocking incident was all caught on surveillance camera footage as the man could be seen attempting to siphon fuel from the tank of a vehicle next to which he had parked his own white pickup in Salt Lake City.
Authorities believe the man was using a drill in order to access the gas tank during which a spark ignited the flammable liquid.

ReplyDeleteDon't feel sorry for this guy; he'll get a personal injury reptile to sue the drill manufacturer, or some gas company for pouring hot gas on him.
ReplyDeleteLive by the syphon hose, die by the syphon hose. Or sumpin'....
ReplyDeleteand he screws us all..... his care at the burn center will be paid for by.....yep, us (taxpayers)
ReplyDeleteBack in the early 1980's, when I was earning 4.70 per hour in a foundry, and the price of gas had started to climb, I didn't pay much attention, since I was single. I ran out of gas once, and that was the only time in my life, ever.
ReplyDeleteThe difference now is that I pay attention and try and combine my trips together and don't make unnecessary trips.
I put over 81$ of gas in my tank that was over a quarter full the other day. That is the most that I have ever put into any one car at one time. I know it is not helpful, but I was pissed off at the world. I know that most of the problem is to be directed at the policies of the Democrats, with Biden being the scapegoat, but I was just mad at the entire world. There is simply no reason for them to do such a thing. America's energy needs, and actually the world's energy needs, will never be completely taken care of via any one source if we don't use petroleum. I can under the desire to attempt to introduce additional fuels into the mix, which can help if done wisely. But doing it the way that they are doing it will do nothing except cause starvation and harm to the people who can least afford to sustain it. Sadly, those are the people who have the least voice in how the policy is going to be implemented.
Intelligent people know what to do , and how to go about it, they just are shut out of the conversation because of politics, not science. Of course, the left loves to shout science, but when it comes down to science the only time that science enters into any discussion is if it supports the political narrative. If it goes against the planned narrative, it gets buried.
