The President signed the gun control bill into law last month. Biden said that this bill isn’t the end to his anti-gun agenda, but it was “an important start,” hinting at further gun control actions the President will push Congress to pass. In the past, Biden has said he wanted a ban on most semi-automatic rifles, magazine capacity limitations, and a ban on body armor. Democrats in the Senate will start applying pressure to their Republican colleges to pass such prohibitions and restrictions.
Now, if he would just modify that to say Democrat controlled cities are killing fields then he'd have it right.
ReplyDelete“Shall not be infringed.” Them words are how The Founders interpreted mans rights that come from GOD. Any law man enacts that is in conflict with the US Constitution is not a law.

Blacks, are their own worst enemy....
ReplyDeleteAny bill with the word safety in it should be more accurately read as Liberty reduction
ReplyDeleteAny bill congress has ever passed limits our liberties.

"anti-gun bill". Indeed. It is NOT an "anti-crime" bill. It is a "pro-control bill".

Of course, the 2nd amendment should be untouchable, as we all know. I myself have always been a bit ambivalent when it comes to the body armor issue. While I certainly think that anyone should be able to own and wear any type of clothing or body armor that they want, I myself am not planning on going anywhere that I anticipate it being so dangerous that bullets fly in such a way that would require body armor.
ReplyDeleteIf I ever felt the need to consider the purchase and wearing of body armor, or as we used to call it, bullet proof vests, then I would have to seriously consider both my choice of lifestyle and area of residence. That is not saying that I don't understand that you can choose your time and place of danger, or attack. But you most certainly can mitigate the level of danger, by the choices you make, and Col. Cooper's color code of threat, while many now don't like it, still works for me.
As many have pointed out, why would anyone let the man who armed the Taliban, make decisions about guns, for over 330 million people? Or even easier, why would anyone let a senile elderly man, who needs to have someone write down when he needs to sit, and where to sit, tell them what firearms they can have? I would feel sad for President Biden, if it were not apparent that his party knew that he was mentally out to lunch. The way that they had him campaign, from hiding, with relatively few public appearances, to keep him from the gaffs that he is now known for. I am one of those conspiracy theorists, who believe that the Democrats cheated the election, and so they knew that it didn't matter how, or for that matter, if he campaigned at all.
The liberal left would love to confiscate every single gun from all the civilians, like in Nazi Germany, Mao's China, or any one of the other totalitarian governments, that then began their cleansing of the undesirables in their country. The problem with that is here in America, too many people own guns, probably somewhere like 60% or even more, and many if not all, won't willingly give them up. The bloodshed from such an undertaking would be horrific, and even the liberals who wanted the guns taken would be aghast, and would not support it any further.
Pedo Joe has long been known as a loud mouth argumentative buffoon. There is evidence of this since he was a junior Senator.
DeleteIf you actually understand why the second amendment is important, then you know that a bad time is possible. Being prepared is your choice. I'm not. I'm not buying it. I'm old, infirm and the end of my porch is the place I can get to. So, Meh.. But the younger, healthier folks should prepare, so they can get old and crotchety.
Delete. “I will use every power that I have to continue to fulfill my pledge toward dealing with global warming,” he said.
DeleteThe safe thing to do. He can spend billions, accomplish nothing, get the kickbacks, and tell the people. "I did what I promised! And the climate change would have been a lot worse without me at the helm!
Will all the Pols bodyguards be included? The laws are for THEM, not US.
ReplyDeleteThat is correct. That is, in the Constitutional Republic which is ours, it would be correct.
DeleteSince it seems the Rule of Law is dead, these United States is a weapons free zone.
A bill doesn't become bipartisan until after its voted on. A bill isn't voted on until after its introduced. A bill usually recieves its title before it is introduced.
ReplyDeleteTo include 'Bipartisan' in the title of a bill is a sure sign something fishy is going on. Yeah, I know. This is my shocked face.
Anyway, I think there is the real story.
Good Gawd! Doesn't anybody proofread their articles anymore.
ReplyDelete"Democrats in the Senate will start applying pressure to their Republican **colleges** ..."
So, how many "Republican colleges" are there? Sheesh, and these are people that get paid to write.
Well , I will buy into the "Gun control " scam when one of our beloved "leaders" stand up and say "I feel so strongly about getting firearms off the streets , that today I had all of my security team turn in all of their guns, they now will carry pointy sticks ."
ReplyDelete"President Joe Biden claimed that everyday places in America are killing fields"...just ask Seth Rich and Vince Foster....
