  1. An almost bankrupt China is telling us not to sell arms to Taiwan that they need to defend themselves...from China? Hmm, why could that be?

  2. How about China stop selling arms to Russia and Serbia?

    1. No shit - why are some of the most common arms all over the mideast & other strife-ridden places in the world stamped "Norinco"?
      It's a mystery, it is.

  6. Eh. At this point, who knows? The ROC (Republic of China) military is so full of PRC (Chicom) agents and spies already it probably doesn't make a difference. Also, while I have no idea about the overall readiness of the ROC forces, the few people I do know report beaucoup gun-decking in their little patches.

The biggest prize in Taiwan is TSMC (which makes an astonishing amount of the "chips" in this world). What's more, TSMC makes more advanced chips. (PRC makes plenty, but their QC is poor, and they do a lot of the simpler, low-margin ones that go into shitty consumer products.) The ROC has vowed to destroy TSMC if the Chicoms invade. Again, who knows if that would be carried out, but the threat is called Taiwan's "Silicon Umbrella" and probably worth more in deterence than even a squadron of "Fat Amys".
