Transgender treatment rule draws raucous response
TALLAHASSEE — In what at times appeared more like a tent revival than an agency rule hearing, state health officials on Friday received public input on a proposal that would deny Medicaid coverage for treatments such as puberty-blocking medication and hormone therapy for transgender people.

No, the state shouldn't have to pay for you to geld your children... No, the child isn't making the choice, they have been brainwashed by parents/teachers/etc.

DeleteEven if the child IS "making a choice" this isn't like getting that ugly teen angst haircut that will only ever live on in pictures. There's no coming back from cutting off a pair of tits or a dick when you change your mind four years later (I remember being that age, my views on almost everything changed every few months.)

You are born as either a male or a female and there's no assigning to it. These clowns make it sound like someone flips a coin in deciding whether you're a male or female, that it's an arbitrary decision and can therefore be changed later on. That is utter bullshit and they need to be called out on it whenever and wherever it happens.
