Anonymous is right. The current meme on this side of the lake is that if the Guardian says it's right wing or the Mail says it's left wing it's probably true. Nothing the BBC says is true . . .
They want inflation for several reasons. It makes paying the interest on the debt more manageable although I can't see avoiding a default and with it the loss of the dollar as the reserve currency.
Also inflation slows down consumption which in turns uses less energy and these scumbags are hell bent on killing the use of fossil fuel. There is no way that windmills and solar farms can replace fossil fuels, NO WAY. They really are depopulating as well as conditioning the survivors to eat bugs.
Biden Admin to claim "climate emergency" then blame inflation on climate emergency.
