Attacker tries to stab NY GOP candidate for governor
NEW YORK - U.S. Rep. Lee Zeldin, the Republican candidate for New York governor, was attacked by a man who tried to stab him at an upstate event Thursday but managed to escape uninjured, he said.
Looks like the weapon was not really a knife but "sharp plastic knuckles". Looks like the MY KITTY thingy does not cut but would live a nasty wound if used hard enough.
Gov of NY points out rally for GOP candidate. GOP candidate attacked. Attacker may be charged, but, will not be jailed. Ah, NY, such a wonderful state.

ReplyDeleteCharged with a felony, but already released into the wild, just as Zeldin predicted.

ReplyDeleteDidn’t Nancy Pelosi expand the Capitol Police and set up regional offices around the country to deal with exactly this kind of stuff?
ReplyDeleteYes, but only if the Congresscritter threatened was a Democrat.
DeleteCatch and release for attempted murder (booked as attempted assault)
ReplyDeleteLooks like the female nitwit governor will suggest banning knives. Sell your Ginsu stock now.
