1.3 million gators in Florida and they protect them. To me that is pretty damn stupid. I don't think they should be slaughtered and wiped off the planet but gott damn 1.3 million? Because they aren't hunted I believe they have lost their fear of humans. That's not good.
Same as California and their lions. People were screaming we need to save them so they outlawed hunting them, then 2 generations of mountain lions later the same people were screaming because lions were being spotted in the middle of small cities.
They may "protect them", but if the wrong one ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time, they can wind up in human stomachs. Even 'gators can fuck around and find out.
"The cause of death has not been determined." Huh? You mean to tell me getting chewed up by two hungry gators isn't enough to determine how she died? That's about as stupid as when they say, "the alleged shooter" such as in the case of recent mall food court psycho killer in Indiana. The word, "alleged" has got to be one of the most misused words in the English language.

DeleteRemember one case in Santa Clara County back in the 80's where a cat killed a lady jogger. Fuckheads took up a collection to take care of the cat.
DeleteCoulda been worse. She coulda met up with a hungry 18ft Burmese python.
