Take the FBI’s deliberately asymmetrical application of the law. This week the bureau surprise-raided the home of former President Donald Trump—an historical first.
A massive phalanx of FBI agents swooped into the Trump residence while he was not home, to confiscate his personal property, safe, and records. All of this was over an archival dispute of presidential papers common to many former presidents. Agents swarmed the entire house, including the wardrobe closet of the former first lady.
Note we are less than 90 days out from a midterm election, and this was not just a raid, but a political act.
And ain't shit gonna happen to em.
ReplyDeleteLook Mister You Need To Have Faith. The Good Guys and White Hats Are In Control! Military Intelligence Has Locked Up Hillary And Obama In Gitmo And Trump Is The Secret President!
DeleteIn the minds of the average American - people like you and I - this has been long overdue. However, nothing is going to happen to them. I appreciate VDH's take on things and in a saner time, the entire agency would be burnt to the ground, it's key malefactors given lengthy prison terms and more importantly - their pensions and all of their benefits - forfeited, law licenses revoked - permanently. The remaining personnel given their pink-slips, never to work in the govt again.
ReplyDeleteBut we do not live in sane times, the people our founders warned us against have infiltrated everything and we now have no recourse to fix things. Voting? We aren't going to vote our way out of this precisely because we didn't vote our way INTO this and besides, as the last two years have shown everyone, there will ALWAYS be just enough votes "found" at the last minute to ensure that the ruling elites puppets will remain where they are, in order for them to continue doing what they have been paid their thirty pieces of silver to do - make sure that the average American gets it, good and hard.
It sounds like the FBI has adopted the slogan of "The Sword and Shield of the Party". And they will do whatever the Uniparty demands to ensure continued Uniparty rule.
DeleteSteve
My guess is they'll attempt a criminal trial of Trump during the 2024 campaign.
ReplyDeleteI think he'll be arrested before the midterms
DeleteWe can only hope the collapse comes quickly, so as to minimize the timeframe in which these diseasesd and dying institutions remain capable of persecution.
ReplyDeleteThat would also reduce the amount of counteracting force that will have to be brought to bear against them once they become fullly and unashamedly violent towards those they will be targeting for retribution.
Of course, the reality is that their train of abuses and usurpation will go on much too long, leading to far greater damage until the rot can be contained and the beast put down.
When Mr. Hanson writes something, I drop my browsing and read it. Then I read it again.
ReplyDeleteSend them to the shitheap of history.
ReplyDeleteThe new math: FBI + IRS = KGB
ReplyDeleteRight after the presidential election, which they said that Trump lost, his behavior was so bad, and so infantile, I said that I would not vote for him again, if he did run in 2024. I voted for him the first two times.
ReplyDeleteAnd I meant it at the time, but that was before the Democrats continued their policy of attacking him, no matter what, at every single turn, and every single possible point, whether it was real or not. Because of their vociferous hatred of Trump, I figure that there must be something that he has, or does that makes them uncomfortable. And knowing that, I decided that I want to see Trump as president once again, if for no other reason than to rub the hateful Democrats put into their place.
The Democrats have made it their policy to shoot to kill anyone who dares to cross them. I figure that it is time that they get handed some of their own medicine, and forced to deal with it another 4 years, hopefully with Trump's VP being cut from the same mold, to run in 2028, in order to ruin the Dems day, once again.
Anyone have the shirtless rusky or zipperhead's number so they can turn DeeCee into the land of the midnight sun for us so we can start over from scratch? Guy can dream can't he?
ReplyDeleteIn such a scenario, I'd only regret the loss of the museums in DC
DeleteI'd accept those losses as an acceptable tradeoff for taking out the trash. Those aren't places I'll ever visit now anyway, as I'd never lower myself to going into the shithole known as D.C.
DeleteI tend to be very skeptical of anything Hanson says; one of my history professors called him Venereal Disease Hanson. He's been wrong so many times that I assume the exact opposite of whatever he says is correct.
ReplyDeleteWhich is interesting, in that I assume the exact opposite of whatever you say is correct.
DeleteOn a personal note, I think your first mistake was having a history professor as opposed to any sense of common sense or critical thinking.
Show your work.
DeleteWe'll wait.
Does this mean there will be no more bs FBI TV shows? Just think all those FBI getting new jobs at the IRS. Hell they can keep their same desk in same building just building will have different name on it.
ReplyDeleteTucker Carlson's first segment tonight was about the FBI's involvement in the Gretchen Whitmer 'kidnapping' case. It was awesome.
ReplyDeleteA little detail towards the end of the story was about the man that was in charge of the Detroit field office of the FBI during this fiasco. In 2020 this man, Steven M. D’Antuono, was promoted to Assistant Director in Charge of the Washington Field Office by FBI Director Christopher Wray. He was the FBI's point man into the 'investigation' of what happened on January 6th. The perfect man for the job.
