Finders Keepers

NEWFANE, N.Y. (WIVB) — A beef between farmers and a local animal sanctuary in Niagara County, New York has been resolved as a result of law enforcement action.

Earlier this month, two cows found their way to Asha’s Farm Sanctuary in Newfane, according to owner Tracy Murphy.

Scott Gregson, who owns McKee Farms just down the road, said the cows were his, but the sanctuary did not want to give the cows back. The incident led to protests by local farmers outside of the sanctuary.

  1. Somebody else's property is a thing often unknown to progressives. Google lists the sanctuary as a tourist attraction. In Texas, a landowner on whose property livestock wanders, must contact the sheriff's department and then place a "found" ad in the local newspaper.

  3. Stinkin' libs. What would she do with them? Not milk them? Let them get mastitis and die a painful death in the name of ideology?

    1. Those are beef cattle, not dairy cattle.

  4. What's up with that cow's brisket? I can't say as I've ever seen something like that before.

I have my own experience with an animal sanctuary near me, but I'll keep my comments to myself. Long story short, they seem to be short on animal compassion and long on indoctrination of young children and old fools. But they sure do seem to rake in the dough from Bay Area airheads.
