I'm tellin' ya, Tennesseans are tough

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man is in custody after investigators said he allegedly shot a man in the head in Humphreys County on Monday evening.

Deputies with the Humphreys County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 3200 block of Forks River Road, just five miles south of Waverly, after a man called 911 to report he had been shot in the head before the call was dropped due to poor cell reception.

  2. It isn't really that we're all that tough---okay, yeah, we are: if you're going to do half the stupid shit we do, you have to be. The biggest thing, though, is that it's about impossible to hurt a Tennessean by hitting him on the head.

  3. That's my county...again. That was just a few mikes up the road from me. This is still WAY better than San Diego. Tree Mike

  4. The authorities ought to do something about that. Poor cellphone reception in this day and age is ridiculous.
