This story has all you want or need to know about Chicago

It’s difficult to imagine a story that better captures the state of law enforcement in Chicago than this one. 

 A man who was singled out by the Chicago police superintendent as an example of an alleged murderer who should not have been released on electronic monitoring, only to be found not guilty six months later, allegedly ran from a crashed car in the Loop on Thursday evening, leaving behind a bag containing $8,000 in marijuana and a loaded handgun with an auto-fire switch and an extended magazine attached.

      Ooooh. That sounds much more scawwy than "Glock 18". Do you think the writer was counting heavily on the general public not knowing jack shit about firearms?

      The switch makes *any* Glock full auto. It installs where the slide cover plate is and I have no idea how it changes the whole connector/trigger bar relationship.

      There has been a flood of drop-in auto "switches" coming in from China, rickn8or, it's not just bona fide Glock 18s anymore. Ghetto armorers across the US and A have been ordering pieces-parts off wish.com or wherever and making back alley full-auto Glocks.

      You probably don't watch rap videos but 33 round Glock mags are on the scene for a reason.
