Poorly anchored pole dancing poles seem to be a recurring theme on gifs here and elsewhere. As an engineer I have a pretty good idea of the kind of forces that a properly installed pole would have to handle. Lots of people, it would appear, don't have a clue.
The guy doing the bench presses should have had two guys spotting for him if he wasn't sure that he could make the press at that weight.

#6: All jokes aside, that's a great way to break your neck.
#8: Benching without a spotter isn't something you'll do twice. I had what's best described as a near death experience as a dumb teenager doing something similar, with no "helpful" people anywhere near me.
