Memphis? They're lucky she didn't end up as pulled pork

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WREG)– A pet pig on the lam for six weeks was reunited with its owners Wednesday afternoon at Memphis Animal Services.

Somebody found the 80-pound Juliana pig named Julie wandering near Jackson and Chelsea.

  1. more likely no Puerto Ricans or Filipinos around. Caroline folks aside, toss up who knows best what to do with P-I-G!

  2. Jackson & Chelsea? Demographics must have changed. Folks in that area certainly used to know what to do with a pig; from capture, through disassembly, and slow-cooking.

    1. Nutbush was always white trash when I lived there. Looking at the "nature's warning signal" hair that kids single mom has, it's now nasty white trash.

  3. Oh, wait. Never mind.

"She has no idea what the very friendly pig has been up to but believes someone was taking care of her. She said Julie had gained 15-20 pounds."

They were just fattening her up some more.

  6. Juliana pig s are miniature pigs. Probably not enough meat on it to make a decent sandwich.
