SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida couple was arrested Thursday for their alleged connection to a disturbing viral video that showed a raccoon being burned alive in a dumpster.
I don't care for raccoons. I've killed a few over the years. This was a reprehensible act. I take no joy in the torment of animals whatsoever. Swift and merciful is the way, if at all possible. There is something seriously broken in a soul that would do this.
Couldn't agree more with WiscoDave's comment on seriously broken souls. Such people pose a potential danger as it's only a short hop IMHO, to tormenting animals to humans. Sad that the consequences these sad excuses for human beings will be relatively light.
Have a momma coon that's been visiting the leftover feral cat's food since spring. Couple weeks ago she brought Junior. I don't harm them, I feed them; they were here first.
