Geese are the real assholes in the bird world,was assaulted as a kid way back when and have them here now at the homestead. Great at letting you know when there are visitors. Good backup to the dogs or vice versa.
Jumping cholla. Worts desert plant. Get within about three feet of it and they will send out those needles with reverse barbs. Hurts like heck pulling them out. No gloves. Sucks to be him.
Only thing I can think is he's in an apartment, and the floors between are packed with some sort of sound dampener? Other than that, looks like the idiot hung it straight from the sheet rock and didn't bother finding a beam.
