  1. That is actually a very cool little library in South Natick Mass.,the Charles River and dam is right behind it with great carp fishing on downside of dam.

The library is a very cool little building architecturally and among some of the cool items in the little 3 story building are suits of armor.

I will try to add some pics but not sure if will take.

  2. Looks like Francis Bacon edged out Andrew Carnegie in regards to this fine edifice.

  4. I worked at a large cemetery for a couple of summers after high school. Anyways, there were these large markers with a family name on it where a family would buy a section and have room for a number of graves. There was one marker that had 2 family names on it. Bacon. Hiscock.

  5. I think the Free is because in the olden days you had to pay. Libraries used to rent books or sell memberships which was a barrier to the poor. Free libraries were intended to give the poor a chance to climb the ladder of success.
Once upon a time rich people didn't "give back to the community by raising awareness" on Tik Tok. They built libraries such as this one, or concert halls (Carnegie Hall, Massey Hall in Toronto) or they bequeathed their fortunes to build universities (Harvard, Stanford, Carnegie-Mellon, McGill in Montreal). Today we're stuck with George -spit- Soros and narcissistic celebrities.
