Gas prices in Tennessee could climb for weeks, expert says

NASHVILLE, TN. (WSMV) - A gas price spike is hitting drivers hard again, and one expert says prices in Tennessee could climb up to 30 cents more per gallon.

Shit, it's climbed that much in the past 4 days. No telling where it's going to end up.

  1. For a few hours in the middle of the night a Los Angeles radio station can be heard a thousand miles away. On an ABC station the lady was almost ready to pass out because she was so excited Biden's programs were working; gas prices fell 4 cents in one day! Gas is still over $6, one of the highest in the nation. If gas had gone up 4 cents in one day under President Trump the left would demand an impeachment and scream for wind fall taxes.

    1. Consider the source, ABC radio news. The worst part of listening to Rush when he was alive was dealing with (read: turning the volume down) ABC top of the hour radio news when it would come on.

ABC radio is a complete and utter joke. They might realize it if they had a half a brain and ever bothered to listen to themselves.

  2. Of course gas prices are going up, it is summer driving season.
What are you saying? It is not summer until next year and fall just started?

You must be some climate change denier. Follow the science. It IS summer.

  3. I know it will be painful, but for the good of the country a continuing, steep rise in gasoline and diesel prices might be good right up to early November. I'm thinking there are some idiots out there that might still not get off their butts and vote the incumbents out.

    1. The thing is, liberals don't know the cause of the increases.
My in-laws watch MSM news every day, and every time somebody brings up gas prices, they start chanting 'corporate greed'. I roll my eyes and ask, 'So you're telling me corporate greed didn't exist until the very day after Biden was sworn in?'

  4. I've said it before, but why is nobody talking about heating oil prices? I realize not a lot of people in the country use it - it's mostly in the N.E. - but it's hurting. The cheapest I can find in S.E. Pa. is $5.10/gal! We go through a 275 gal. tank every 5-6 weeks in the winter. That's a shit-ton of dough.

  5. S station a few miles south of Bryson City jumped 30 cents a gallon over the last week. Places closer to home it's been more like 10 cents.
