Lake Announces She Will Declare Southern Border ‘Invasion’ on Day One as Governor
SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – Speaking to a packed crowd of several hundred at the headquarters of ammunition company Dillon Precision, Lake received loud cheers when she announced, “I will declare an invasion on the border on day one when I get into office.” She added, “I want us to be known as The Grand Canyon State, not the fentanyl cartel state.”

Sure hope she asks for volunteers to man positions on the border. I have a few scouted out in Santa Cruz County. Maybe I should contact her office and tell her my idea of an all volunteer all combat arms veteran border force that answers to the governor and only the governor. think I will compose an email now.
ReplyDeleteIf she deputizes them, she can then issue fully automatic weapons. I am certain that the state has at least some, from the time when they were giving them tanks, M-RAPS, and such.

Pigpen, There is likely no need for automatic fire weapons. Aimed rifle fire is more effective, one shot at a time and make it count. Besides this is not a fight against an armed advisory, its people jumping a border that until now has been an easy endeavor. With a GOV Lake, hopefully that will change. Look, you cap a few bucks in the group with melon shots and the rest will quickly turn the fuck around. We call them melon shots, “warning shots”. Look there will be an established ROE to follow and though there might be one or two belt feds on a position, the likely hood of employing that fire is nil.
Delete@Saber 7: They normally call an armed civilian contingent under the governor's direction a 'militia', which means you'll have plenty of FBI "reinforcements".
ReplyDeleteMeantime, I'm glad if she does declare it an "invasion". One of the very few things the FedGuv is constitutionally authorized/required to do is protect the states' borders and not only do they fail miserably, they exacerbate the problem by aiding and abetting the invasion.
