Starker here, #2 China & Woman, voted worst drivers. #8 Mind the gap. #4 It's Karma, Dumbass or is it Dumbass Karma? #1,3,6,7 & 10, I believe Vodka was involved. #9 You'd think a college kid would've covered basic physics. At least he got schooled on energy and elastic & inelastic collisions. One better with physics than I reminds, Keep your dick in a vice.
#4) A car window needed to be broken out to gain access to an empty locked and wrecked car. A female firefighter on scene never broke one before so I was going to let her do it. I told her to put the point of the Halligan tool into the corner and it would break easily. Thinking she knew how to do it, I started walking away. Nope, she lines up like she's swinging a baseball bat, the tool rotated as she swung, and the flat part of the tool head hit the glass dead center. It was like hitting a concrete wall and the glass did not break. The shock went down the bar and hurt like hell. I of course, laughed, took away the tool, and with a little tap with the point in the corner, shattered the whole window.
#8 Happend to me years ago. Piece of heavy 3/8 steel plating swoosh gonzo 30+ flights heard it banging all way down. Had to call elevator repair to make sure didn't damage the umbilical cord of wires underneath elevator.
An 3/4 inch steel plate would certainly be that heavy. However, it looks to me like it's not too heavy for the man to carry, but walking it is less effort.
#9: Vertical faceplant.

ReplyDeleteI used to carry a spring loaded center punch. Low effort, instant results.

DeleteI like these since I always carry a gun and its less liability than the bullet hose.
#2 should happen to more people who use their phone while driving.

#2 Ken, this is the road from Esslingen to Robinson Barracks. My wife drives it each day to work.
DeleteIf that Russki had snagged an arresting hook, the results would have been visible from the space station.
